Mission Critical Group completes integration of MCFI assets

Today

Mission Critical Group has announced that, following an acquisition in 2023, Mission Critical Facilities International will fully integrate into its operations.

The integration of the Austin-based firm strengthens Mission Critical Group's manufacturing capabilities, offering over 700,000 square feet of manufacturing space across the United States. The expansion allows the company to enhance its delivery of power solutions quickly and efficiently.

According to Jeff Drees, Chief Executive Officer of Mission Critical Group, "Our mission has always been more than just words—it's a promise to sustain essential industries and drive progress. By fully integrating MCFI into MCG, alongside JTS and Point Eight Power, we've created a seamless organisation ready to solve the most complex power challenges. Together, we are powering the systems the world relies on while building a more secure future."

Completing this integration will see leadership changes, with Matt Coffel, Co-founder and President of Mission Critical Facilities International, taking on the role of Chief Commercial and Innovation Officer at Mission Critical Group. Troy Miller, previously the General Manager of Mission Critical Facilities International, will now serve as Vice President and General Manager of Delivery and Services at Mission Critical Group.

Mission Critical Group has been expanding its market reach and production capabilities through its acquisitions, including JTS and Point Eight Power. The acquisition of JTS provides expertise in modular power systems and generator enclosures from its operations in Idaho and Texas. Point Eight Power, from Louisiana and Mississippi, bolsters Mission Critical Group's portfolio with switchgear, switchboards, and power control solutions.

The integration marks the fourth merger or acquisition undertaken by Mission Critical Group in the last two years, reinforcing its commitment to providing robust power solutions across various sectors, such as data centres, healthcare, telecommunications, and energy.

To meet the growing demand for reliable power solutions, the company plans to expand its workforce significantly. These efforts aim to support its growth and deliver effectively across critical infrastructure projects.

Mission Critical Group's extensive range of offerings, which includes power modules, modular data centres, microgrids, generator enclosures, power skids, e-houses, switchgear, switchboards, backup power systems, and aftermarket services, is designed to ensure reliability and scalability within its target industries.
