Zadara & Alerify launch sovereign private AI cloud
Zadara has entered into a partnership with Pennsylvania data centre operator Alerify to deliver a multi-tenant, private, sovereign AI cloud offering using Nvidia GPU infrastructure.
The two companies said they will offer private AI services from Alerify's Harrisburg facility. The companies positioned the service around data sovereignty and local control for organisations running AI workloads in private and hybrid environments.
Partner choice
Alerify said it selected Zadara as a partner for its AI Edge platform. The arrangement combines Alerify's data centre and cloud automation layer with Zadara's compute, storage, and networking infrastructure.
The companies framed the partnership as a way for customers to deploy private AI without moving sensitive data to public cloud platforms. They also referenced VMware and hybrid cloud environments as target operating models.
"We chose Zadara because our clients deserve AI solutions that are private, secure, and designed around their business." said Andy Kochanowski, PhD, Founder and CEO of Alerify. "Zadara shares our values of security, scalability, and innovation. Together, we're going to give businesses access to the power of AI while ensuring their data stays private, local, secure, and compliant. This partnership allows us to deliver all the benefits of the cloud without the risks or the continuously increasing costs."
AI workloads
Alerify said its AI Edge platform will provide tools to deploy private AI models on sovereign AI servers within its Harrisburg data centre. The company said the platform will address a range of AI use cases. These include training, fine-tuning and inference.
The companies also described the offering as multi-tenant. This model typically allows different customers to share underlying infrastructure while maintaining isolation between tenants. The companies said the service will run on Nvidia GPU-based compute.
Zadara said the partnership builds on its work with other service providers. The company referenced its recently announced partnership with Micro Support Group.
Operations focus
The companies said the combined offering will simplify cloud operations and reduce infrastructure costs. They said it will provide an integrated approach for enterprises looking to introduce AI workloads into existing environments.
Zadara markets itself around "sovereign AI edge clouds". The company said it operates in more than 500 edge cloud locations worldwide. It also said it can deploy a cloud in any location.
Alerify said it operates a Tier 3 data centre and holds SOC 2 certification. The company said it provides colocation, virtual private cloud services and business continuity offerings alongside its AI Edge platform.
"Partnering with Alerify represents a powerful alignment of mission and technology," said Yoram Novick, CEO of Zadara. "Organisations need AI infrastructure that delivers performance without compromising sovereignty or cost. By combining Zadara's sovereign AI cloud with Alerify's innovative AI Edge platform, we're giving our joint customers a secure and scalable foundation to accelerate their AI strategies on their terms and under their control."
Regional market
Alerify positioned the partnership around businesses in Central Pennsylvania and the wider Mid-Atlantic region. It also said it will serve customers beyond the region.
The company linked the service to modernisation and cybersecurity priorities. It said organisations want AI infrastructure that fits compliance requirements and internal controls. It also noted that local deployment matters for customers with data-handling and residency constraints.
"Our goal has always been to empower local and regional organisations with the same world-class technology used by the biggest enterprises," added Kochanowski. "With Zadara, we're able to do exactly that right here in Central Pennsylvania."
The companies said they will work through Alerify's Harrisburg data centre as the initial delivery location for the joint private AI cloud offering.
